A recent leak revealed that Oppo and Vivo are gearing up to launch new foldable phones in the first quarter of 2025. Vivo is reportedly preparing for the launch of the Vivo x Fold 4 . The upcoming Vivo X Fold 4 could become the thinnest book style foldable phone in the world. The feature is not officially declare yet but some specs are leaked before its launch.

According to leak, this smartphone will featured with 8.2 inch LTPO AMOLED screen with punch hole display , & foldable , dual display with HDR10+. This phone will also have 1916×2160 pixel resolution with 144Hz refresh rate. And its peak brightness will be 1800nits.
Camera
As for the leak Vivo X Fold 4 will likely to feature a round camera module on the back , it will house a triple camera setup featuring a 50MP primary camera & a single periscope telephoto lens with OIS. And 32MP + 32MP dual front SONY IMX866 camera also feature in this foldable phone with the 1920×1080@ 30fps video recording facility.
Battery and Storage
If we talk about the battery of this smartphone, this device will have a Silicon battery with a capacity of around 6,000mAh and will support 80W wire fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging.
And now let’s talk about the RAM and Storage of this phone, the RAM of this phone will start at 12GB and its expandable up to 24GB. And the base Internal memory of this phone will be 256 GB UFS 4.0 and it is expendable as well.
Processor
In the recent leak mentioned an upcoming foldable phone powered by the SM8750 which is nothing but the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset . It will be run on the Operating system of Android v 14 .
– Thickness of the phone will be approximately 8.x mm & its fibre glass variant will weigh around 21x grams.
– In this phone , no memory card slot available.
– This device will also IP 68 rated for water and dust resistance.
– This device also feature with Dolby Atoms Dual Speakers and in-display finger print sensor will also given.
– Expectedly the price of this smartphone will be Rs 1,39,990. And the launch date is not confirmed yet but according to the leaks it will be launch in first quarter of 2025.
