What is happiness?
Happiness is not something that just happens to us , rather it’s something we create through our own action. Happiness is not something that you can buy from a shop , it is come from your own. Happiness comes from your response to every circumstances and it’s dependent on what we think , feel and do . This means we aren’t just a product of our genes and our circumstances , but we are active drivers in how happy we feel. Happiness is a sense of well being , joy or contentment , when people are successful or safe or lucky , they feel happiness.
Every morning when you wake up , you have a choice how can you live this day , either you live happy , motivated or you live discouraged , demotivated. Happiness doesn’t automatically happen it’s a choice you have to make . You have to decide what kind of day is going to be , First thing in the morning you need to makeup your mind , I am going to live this day happy , I am going to enjoy this day. If you don’t decide how you are going to live , circumstances will decide for you . You will see every problem how it’s not going to work out , you not realize it but you are choosing to live discouraged . S o decide to be happy .The perfect example to be happy is LORD BUDDHA who leave his luxurious life to feel true happiness and become a monk. Happiness doesn’t depend on what you have , or who you are . It solely relies what you think.
A Wise person once said ,” I don’t smile because I am happy , I smile because I want to feel happy.” Don’t make anyone the reason of your happiness rather make yourself the source of your happiness. Happy people feel the whole range of human emotion — anger , frustration , loneliness , sadness- from time to time . But even when faced with discomfort , they have an underlying sense of optimism that things will get better , that they can deal with what is happening , and that they will be able to feel happy again.
Happiness is a journey not a destination , enjoy every step of your life. Some how what’s happening around you , If you don’t like it , change it . If you can’t change it then change your attitude . That circumstances never affect your happiness.
